HSE SPECIALIST (SPECIALIST OF ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, SAFETY)

The role, reporting to the HSE leader, is responsible for following HQ , site target , mission and achieve global benchmark and optimize complete and suitable process and procedures of EHS management and create deep and overall safety culture.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- Oversee HSE activities to ensure legal compliance to local legal requirements.
- Perform job exposure analysis to ensure safe work environments according to HSE standards and local legal requirements.
- Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate HSE procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in legislation and Group standards.
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety and health programs. Ex. LOTO, Machine safety, chemical, fire, supplier construction safety, etc.
- Give support in maintaining the site health and safety management system according to ISO 45001:2018 standard.
- Give support in maintaining the site environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015 standard.
- Ensure effective incident management including incident investigations, root cause identification, prevention plans setting, follow up and reporting.
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections and perform self-assessment and internal audits to comply with local regulations.
- Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.
- Support in designing safety training programs for employees, ensure response to all specific requirements and maintain knowledge of all company safety programs, draft all materials for training programs within required timeframe.
- Oversee waste management system, waste reduction monitoring and ensure regulatory agency compliance, labeling, containments, proper disposal and documentation.
- Support plant EHS leader (manager) to achieve local and global EHS performance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree in HSE and 3/5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company. Entrepreneurship, organizational and planning skills, teamwork attitude, flexibility and proactivity are required to be successful for the role. Fluent in French and English knowledge are mandatory. Good communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge and experience with continuous improvement methodologies and proficiency in Excel will complete the profile.
