Â
The Laboratory Engineer HPWH is responsible for conducting performance and type tests aimed at supporting the R&D department in validating technological choices and refining product control logics.
The role involves continuous collaboration with the Technology team during the early pre‑development phase, and later with Project Leaders during the execution phase, contributing to the final tuning and optimization of the project.
Â
What you’ll do:
-
Test setup preparation: Physical installation of the test sample and setup of the required instrumentation (NTC sensors, pressure sensors, pivots, etc.)
-
Performance testing: Execution of tests while monitoring product and climatic chamber behavior, in compliance with major international standards (e.g. EU EN 16147, AU, USA)
-
Post-processing and data analysis:Â Structured analysis of test data to identify design improvements and performance optimization opportunities; preparation of technical reports
-
Standards analysis and interpretation:Â Reading, understanding, and applying the regulatory standards governing performance tests
-
Reverse engineering testing: Execution of experimental tests aimed at reconstructing the operating logic of competitors’ products
Â
What you bring:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably with a thermodynamic background
- Laboratory experience, ideally on A/C or HPWH products
- Strong proficiency in Excel (macros and VBA considered a plus)
- Familiarity with thermodynamic simulation software (e.g. Refprop, Dymola)
- Analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proactivity, planning and time management
