TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST

THE ROLE
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing a marketing plan and activities aligned with the strategy while focusing on distribution, display, and trade promotion. Trade marketers shall analyze competitive price movements, display status, competitive promotions, and sell-out data, and direct the sales teams to where to act every week.
The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City. S/He hierarchically reports to the Trade Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement push initiatives, including merchandising campaigns, display programs, and trade promotions, to maximize Ariston’s products' availability and visibility in trade.
- Support key accounts in deploying trade marketing programs in franchise / modern trade systems.
- Executing BTL activities (new product launch and listing, sampling, consumer promotions).
- Execute trade promotional plan in designated channels with crucial customers.
- Contributing & executing marketing plans & projects.
- Responsible for daily performance reports that correlate the production performance with sales performance (assuring the right product at the right time).
- Look after display systems and other merchandising tools to comply with the standards adopted within the company.
- Market visits- monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategy, current promotions, and stock level across POS (point of sale).
- Ensure a smooth supply of P.O.S. materials to the point of sales.
- Participate in trade marketing programs and trade promotions.
- Manage the POSS (Point of Sales Supervisors).
- To manage the Promoters.
- Follow up with sales/product manager to achieve estimated sales on trade deals.
- Understand channel dynamics, merchandising, and shopper insights by being aware and abreast latest competitive trends.
- Collect market information and enter it in an electronic format developed by the company.
- Monitor trade marketing activities of the competition.
- Looking after all trade promotions (placing promotions based on the marketing calendar).
- Monitoring stock movement to the store, suggesting promotions or trade deals on slow-moving or near-expiry products or promotions.
- Attending customer complaints and following up with the concerns on solutions.
- Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups
- Monitoring competitor activity, Evaluating visibility & market coverage of our products through regular market visits
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree, major in Marketing, business administration, or foreign trade.
- Fluency in English (Speaking and Writing);
- Presentation skills, forecasting, planning, analyzing, communicating, creating, and implementing.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Trade Marketing/Sales function.
- Cross-Functional Appreciation.
