DIGITAL MARKETING & E-COMMERCE MANAGER

THE ROLE
The Digital & E-commerce Manager is responsible for driving online growth and enhancing the digital presence of a company. This role requires a data-driven and creative approach with a strong understanding of both marketing and technology.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Digital
- Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
- Established and executed a digital marketing strategy to distribute content
- Work with the brand team and other stakeholders to maintain the company’s digital presence
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social channels
- Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience
- Optimising the website for user experience, including navigation, search functionality, and mobile responsiveness.
- Researched, tracked, and analyzed consumer behaviors and trends on digital & media usage and implemented research insight into digital marketing campaigns
- Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs
- Collaborate with the brand team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques
- Develop and monitor campaign budgets
- Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and implement them in the company’s marketing campaigns
Ecommerce
- Developing and executing e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, logistics, and IT, to ensure smooth e-commerce processes.
- Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan & implement marketing activities to drive traffic to ecommerce sites & sales online (including both on & offsite activities, digital & social marketing tactics)
- Managing relationships with third-party vendors, including payment gateways, logistics partners, and e-commerce platforms.
- Analysing sales performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with product marketing & sales to prepare information for product listings, descriptions, and pricing in the online store.
- Regularly coordinate with retailers to update product information, images, and descriptions to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency.
- Planned and executed seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement.
- Analyse customer behaviour and trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Analyse data from Google Analytics, CRM systems, and other tools to monitor site traffic and customer behaviour.
- Track and report e-commerce performance, including sales, conversion rates, and ROI on digital marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience at manager level in digital marketing role or in a similar e-commerce & digital marketing role.
- In-depth knowledge of current digital trends, social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends
- Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
- Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends
- Strong understanding of online sales platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Expertise in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with CRM software and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they impact online sales.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Solid communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Familiarity with e-commerce trends such as personalization, chatbots, or AI-driven shopping experiences.
