R&D DESIGN SPECIALIST

The role will be based at Z.R.E. – Zecchi Electric Heaters, an Italian company located in San Gillio (Turin), which has been part of Thermowatt since 2025.

The role, within the R&D Team, will be responsible for the following activities:

• Design and modification of electro-mechanical components according to the principles of electrical science
• Manage the bill of materials and process of industrialization
• Manage costs, quality and timing of development/maintenance projects
• Maintain/change existing products in order to enlarge the products range, to reach cost saving and quality improvement

The ideal candidate has a electronic/mechanical technical background and has good knowledge of drawing software as AutoCAD/Solidworks or 2D/3D technical design.

The knowledge of materials, Steelwork and heat transmission principle are a plus.    

Analytical and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem solving and flexibility complete the profile. 

English knowledge and availability to travel are basic requirements.
