SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

In your role of SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER, reporting to the SQA Global Manager, you will be responsible of implement the supplier quality strategy ensuring the achievement of quality standards. He/she will be in charge of the following responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Auditing (inter)national suppliers based on system- and process audits.
- Actively participate in supplier quality issues problem solving by using 8D process
- Ensure that new product launch quality level and timing are met applying AQPQ (Advanced Quality Product Planning) and PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process)
- Develop with supplier the critical to quality features control
- Control the supplier quality critical criteria with R&D and supplier.
- Perform Supplier Quality Assurance & Audit visit to suppliers.
- Monitor and improving suppliers KPIs (quality and service level) applying supplier quality tools
- Continuously improve the supplier quality process according to defined KPI’s.
- Instruct & motivate the organization to achieve maximum performance.
- Perform according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s.
- Report on achievements and process to defined KPI’s and targets.
- Developing new and existing suppliers to get the Quality Mandate status.
- Developing suppliers through the implementation of several quality tools, such as SPC, Capability analyses, MSA, FMEA Control plans.
As our ideal candidate, you hold a Bachelor degree in Quality Management, Industrial or related, with 3 or more years of solid experience in the Quality or Procurement area.
With skills or experience in:
- He/she is able to easily interact with business internal clients and has strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired. Black Belt / Lean Expert certification preferred.
- Strong background in Statistical Process Control, capability analysis (Cp, Cpk).
- Hands-on, proactive, result oriented, accurate, flexible and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency English is mandatory, German and Italian is a preference.
- Experienced in working with ERP (SAP) and Office-software
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Minitab is a preference.
- Base knowledge of several production processes, such as metalworking, plastic and rubber pouring, aluminum and iron pouring and electronics.
- Experience with (and knowledge of) ISO 9001 quality handbooks.
- English written and oral communication skills should be fluent.
