PLANT LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Plant Logistics Manager to drive production & materials planning, optimize raw material warehouse and logistics operations, and ensure seamless material flow—balancing cost, service, and quality performance. You will play a key role in strengthening operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of monthly and daily production plans, aligned with S&OP inputs, capacity constraints, and supplier capabilities
  • Define and drive materials requirements planning (MRP/DRP) to ensure optimal supply availability
  • Oversee inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and availability of raw materials and components
  • Manage internal logistics and raw material and WIP warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient material handling, and inventory control
  • Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to balance availability and working capital efficiency
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, proactively mitigating risks in close collaboration with Procurement and Production
  • Define and track logistics KPIs (safety, service levels, inventory accuracy, productivity, availability)
  • Champion the plant’s WCM Logistics Pillar by identifying, implementing, and sustaining continuous improvement actions that increase logistics efficiency, optimize material flow, and improve warehouse performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver plant performance and operational excellence targets
  • Actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Foster a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within logistics operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering capability growth and engagement

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within an industrial environment
  • Proven expertise in: Production & material planning, Warehouse operations & inventory management and ERP/WMS implementation and optimization
  • Strong experience managing operational teams in manufacturing environments
  • Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics KPIs
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities
  • Fluency in French and English
