Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Parts & Inventory Student to support our Parts & Service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in product data management, inventory processes, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support Product Information Management (PIM) data collection, including:
- Product photographs
- Dimensions and specifications
- Instructional documentation
- Integration with Parts Finder application
- UPC/EAN code tracking

Validate and enhance existing PIM data using structured methodologies (e.g., ABC classification)

Assist with verification of Bills of Material (BOM) for accuracy and completeness

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and instruction sets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the transition of parts production from the U.S. to Saint John
-
Review and recommend improvements to warehouse layout efficiency, including:
- Raw materials storage
- Finished goods staging and shipping

Support initiatives to improve inventory management processes, including:
- Cycle counting of finished goods
- Data accuracy and tracking improvements
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (business, supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is considered an asset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in technical products is an asset
