As Plant Quality Manager, reporting hierarchically to the Plant Director and functionally to the Quality Assurance Director, you will be responsible for the following activities:

 

 

  • Ensurement of the proper functioning, development, monitoring and improvement of the quality system within the production site, driving/supporting continuous improvement activities to guarantee customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Supervision of all the aspects potentially impacting quality in the production site.
  • Management of the plant quality team activities while driving a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation/maintenance of global quality standards, problem solving tools and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Interaction with suppliers to provide factual feedback and guidance about product quality performances and monitor / follow-up on agreed improvement initiatives.
  • Management of the incoming inspections and quality control throughout the process.
  • Analysis of scraps and reworks to identify root causes and countermeasures.
  • Statistical control of finished products including management of defects and related corrective actions.
  • Management and coordination of the plant quality meetings.
  • Support in all quality aspects and implications linked to the processes of New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Requests.
  • Support in management of reworks and on-hold/quarantine products.
  • Support to Quality Assurance on management of plant related claims.
  • Supervision of internal process conformity.
  • Quality Control (QC) pillar leadership within World Class Manufacturing.

 

As our ideal candidate, your skillset includes: 

 

  • Engineering degree and an experience of 3-5 years in similar roles in manufacturing companies.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing quality systems and processes, quality control methods, statistical process control and quality control tests.
  • Basic knowledge on core production processes like metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection, assembly and automation.
  • Robustness in analytics and advanced problem solving, TQM, six-sigma (Black Belt level) and PFMEA; exposure to Quality Control (QC) pillar in World Class Manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Basics of Safety and Environment concepts applied to production processes.
  • Basics of mechanical, electrical, electronics and SW.
  • Robustness in planning, time and deadlines management, communication and strong entrepreneurial mindset.
