The role, reporting directly to the Country Director, will be managing the following activities:

  • Lead and develop the logistics team
  • Manage the logistics P&, forecasting, cost & stock control
  • Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement culture within the Logistics Department.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's logistics strategy
  • Monthly planning and forecasting of import and end-to-end material flows
  • Monthly planning of internal SOP consolidating the forecast of market
  • Management of daily operation of import (custom clearance) and coordinating the warehouse keeper (good entry, good issue, picking, stocking)
  • Lead business in analysis of distribution analysis (delivery size, order size, geomix analysis) and overall supply chain performance
  • Develop and execute inventory management strategy
  • Scout logistic suppliers (transportation, custom clearance, warehousing), tender/rfq management according to company standard process and procedures with a focus on building long-term partnerships
  • Coordinate activities between procurement, sales, and other departments to ensure aligned and efficient logistics operations
  • Support the budget and forecast preparation and variance analysis
  • Measure and analyze the logistic performance metrics and their economic impact on the company's competitiveness
  • Oversee logistics IT systems and reporting
  • Propose strategic projects for improvement of service/cost reduction

 

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics and 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Department.

Good relational skills, teamwork aptitude, good, flexibility and pro-activity will complete the profile. 

Proficiency in English.
