KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Freight Management & Logistics Excellenc
- End-to-End Coordination: Organizing, supervising, and optimizing international road, sea, and air freight for raw materials and finished goods (heat pumps and cylinders).
- Vendor Performance Management: Selecting and evaluating freight forwarders and carriers based on strict KPIs (on-time delivery, cargo safety, and cost competitiveness).
- Supply Chain Resilience: Proactively managing logistics disruptions and urgent shipments to ensure the seamless continuity of the Niš plant production lines.
Customs Documentation & Strategic Compliance
- Advanced Documentation Control: Preparing, verifying, and archiving comprehensive import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, EUR1, CMR) in strict adherence to Customs Law.
- Strategic Tariff Classification: Precisely assigning Harmonized System (HS codes) for a wide range of mechanical components and finished units, minimizing the risk of misclassification and legal penalties.
- Preferential Origin Analysis: Analyzing and validating the preferential origin of goods to maximize duty savings under Free Trade Agreements.
Systems Proficiency & Financial Oversight
- ERP & Customs Software Mastery: Advanced utilization of SAP (MM and SD modules) for tracking material flows and integrating logistics data, alongside proficiency in local e-customs software and digital clearance tools.
- Process Digitalization: Automating the preparation of shipping documents within the information systems to reduce manual errors and accelerate border clearance.
- Cost Optimization & Auditing: Analyzing freight spend and customs duties, providing detailed cost-saving reports and identifying efficiencies in the logistics chain.
- Customs & Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for Customs Authorities and external brokers, ensuring streamlined clearance processes and compliance audits.
Logistics Hub Flow & Inter-company Operations
- Hub-to-Plant Flow Optimization: Managing scheduled line-haul transportation from central European Logistics Hubs (primarily Italy) to the Niš plant, ensuring timely replenishment of raw materials and components.
- Shipment Consolidation: Coordinating with Italian counterparts to consolidate freight from various European warehousing points, maximizing truckload utilization and reducing overall freight spend.
- Inter-company Customs Management: Overseeing customs procedures for intra-group stock transfers, ensuring accurate customs valuation and strict adherence to transfer pricing documentation requirements.
- Financial Audit & Invoice Verification: Performing rigorous audits and verification of freight, warehousing, and customs brokerage invoices to ensure alignment with negotiated tariffs and service delivery accuracy.
Internal Flow Management & Optimization
- Internal Route Definition: Designing and implementing optimal material flow routes within the plant premises to minimize handling time and bottlenecks
- Flow Optimization: Continuous analysis and improvement of internal logistics processes (from raw material receipt to supplying production lines for heat pumps and cylinders).
- Space Management: Maximizing warehouse capacity utilization and defining zones for fast-moving items to increase operational efficiency.
- Process Synchronization: Aligning internal transport activities with daily production schedules to ensure "Just-in-Time" supply principles.
REQUIREMENTS
- Type and level of education: Level VI degree (Logistics, Economics, or Technical orientation).
- Work experience: at least five years in similar or same role.
- Language: Serbian language at a professional level and English language at an advanced level are mandatory.
- Other conditions: Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020 and customs tariffs. Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Excel).
