HSE CLUSTER MANAGER

The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs within a designated cluster. This role provides directions to the sites in setting up local HSE programs and in seeking and sharing HSE best practices to ensure good corporate alignment.
At the moment, we are looking for the HSE Cluster Manager for the following countries: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Egypt and India.
This role
- Defines and disseminates information regarding health and safety roles and responsibilities ensuring that the HSE system is properly established, resourced, implemented, and maintained.
- Ensurs that locations comprehend and implement the necessary actions to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Promotes a culture of safety and develops strategies to minimize workplace hazards within the cluster locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance to health, safety and environmental requirements for all production and non – production sites in the cluster
- Support the sites in analyzing, consolidating and monitoring HSE performance indicators (leading and lagging)
- Indirectly manage a team of HSE local coordinators
- Provide technical support to local HSE coordinators acting as coach and mentor and promotes awareness and understanding of legal responsibilities
- Support sites in the definition of training solutions to meet legal and other requirements
- Assist sites with internal and external HSE audits / inspections and all related follow up activities.
- Support engineering projects to ensure appropriate HSE involvement and associated risk assessment
- Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
- Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Group strategy
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in manufacturing sites or regional/multi-site role
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations
- Experience working with IS0 14001, ISO 45001 management systems
- Excellence programs (WCM especially)
- Excellent communication and training skills, and proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation
- Internal auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001,
- Qualification for carrying out safety training is preferred
- Fluency in English.

This position requires frequent business travel within the cluster locations. Occasional travel to other factories of the Group for auditing purposes is included.

Direct reporting to the HSE Group Sr. Director. The role is supposed to work closely with site managers, locations HSE coordinators (reporting to this role in dotted line), and other key stakeholders to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
