About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our Group Quality Team and play a key role in ensuring consistent product quality across our global water heating manufacturing footprint. This role requires experience with welding processes, particularly related to pressure-containing components (e.g. pressure tanks), as well as solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industrial quality standards.

You will lead and coordinate quality control activities across multiple production plants, with a strong focus on newly established manufacturing sites (such as in Egypt and India). This position will require frequent on‑site presence to set up, stabilize, and audit quality processes. This is a highly hands‑on role, with significant time spent on the shop floor working closely with local quality teams, production, and engineering functions. You will be a key driver of quality culture, operational discipline, and continuous improvement across plants. Quality Control Managers in the assigned plants will have a dotted‑line reporting relationship to this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and oversee Quality Control activities across multiple water heating production plants in their footprint phase
  • Contribute to the definition of Quality Control Plans (QCP) and ensure effective deployment at plant level
  • Define and implement control plans and corrective actions, especially in proximity to product and plant launch milestones
  • Develop, implement and monitor QC procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols specific to water heating products
  • Manage non‑conformities, lead root cause analysis, and address supplier quality issues
  • Supervise product audits, process inspections, and end‑of‑line testing
  • Analyze quality KPIs and define action plans to reduce defects, scrap, and field complaints
  • Train and coach local plant teams on quality standards, inspection methods, and manufacturing best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across plants
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve process robustness

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Industrialization or a comparable role
  • Experience with welding processes, particularly related to pressure-containing components (e.g. pressure tanks).
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and applicable industrial quality and safety regulations
  • Experience working in multiple production plants and international manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a pragmatic and hands‑on mindset
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and cultures
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness and ability to frequent business travel (50–60%), particularly to Egypt and India during the initial phase
  • Availability to work from Milan, Agrate, or Fabriano, where our offices are located

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, production, and quality
  • Grow your expertise by contributing to scalable, connected, and high‑impact factory solutions
  • Join a professional culture that values initiative, technical excellence, accountability, and collaboration
