Responsible for defining and driving the Group’s strategy and performance in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Protection, and Remediation, ensuring alignment with ESG commitments and HSE standards.

Acts as the corporate focal point for ESG-related HSE topics, supporting global sites in achieving compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy Group strategy for Industrial Hygiene, Environmental management, and remediation
  • Develop and maintain standards, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with regulations and best practices
  • Lead global Industrial Hygiene programs (exposure assessment, occupational health risks)
  • Oversee environmental performance (emissions, waste, resource efficiency) and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Act as ENV Global Pillar Leader (WCM), driving capability building and methodological alignment
  • Lead management of contaminated sites and remediation activities
  • Support M&A, divestments, and site closures on environmental liabilities
  • Act as HSE lead for ESG reporting and disclosures (e.g., CSRD, GRI, CDP, MSCI), ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Define and monitor KPIs, drive performance improvement and audits
  • Provide expert support to sites, clusters, and senior management and deliver training and guidance

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or similar
  • 7–10 years of experience in IH and Environmental management in a multinational environment
  • Experience with ESG reporting frameworks and remediation/liability management
  • Strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
