PLANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER

As Plant Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Plant Director, you will be responsible of the following activities:

  • Management of the daily operations of the plant maintenance department ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventive maintenance procedures are followed including accurate completion of the preventative maintenance program
  • Management of preventive and corrective maintenance, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on the whole production plant, including building and utilities
  • Supervision and coordination of the plant maintenance team
  • Analysis, diagnoses and correction of problems causing OEE losses (e.g., breakdowns, micro-stoppages, start-up/shut-down time)
  • Promotion and ensurement of a safe and healthy work environment in maintenance activities by following and enforcing HSE standards and procedures
  • Management and supervision of relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Management of equipment spare parts inventory and the related orders, and spare parts warehouse organization
  • Supervision of all repair and installation activities
  • Investigation of the breakdowns through EWOs, creation and follow-up of the machine ledgers and the PM calendars
  • Professional Maintenance (PM) pillar leadership within the World Class Manufacturing plant organization
  • Promotion of improvement activities on machines and on maintenance methods to reduce/optimize the maintenance costs
  • Leadership, supervision and motivation of maintenance workforce

 

As our ideal candidate, your skillset includes: 

  • Engineering degree and an experience of 3-5 years in similar roles in manufacturing companies
  • Knowledge and experience in maintenance management in capital intensive environment, ideally with high degree of automation
  • Maintenance Management toolkit like EWOs, machine ledger, PM calendar, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of core production processes like metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection, assembly and automation
  • Basics of mechanical, electrical, electronics and SW in the maintenance field
  • Basics of Safety and Environment concepts applied to production processes
  • Basics of cost and performance accounting
  • Basics of Lean Manufacturing and/or World Class Manufacturing (or other continuous improvement approaches)
  • Robustness in analytics and problem solving, planning, time and deadlines management, communication and strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluency in French and good communication skills in English (written and oral)
