Reporting to the Project Sales Manager Spain and the Professional Sales Manager Spain, the Sales Area Manager will be responsible for implementing the defined commercial strategy to develop the direct and indirect sales in the Northern region, achieving sales and profitability targets. They will execute the action plan for their area, manage clients, reach consensus on decisions, and collaborate with the regional Parts & Service team for the benefit of the company.

MAIN TASKS

  • Identifying product needs and developing new business opportunities, as well as preparing feasibility studies.
  • Making decisions regarding the company's product roadmap.
  • Competitive benchmarking.ç
  • Knowledge of regulations related to the marketing and installation of products.
  • Participation in activities related to Manufacturers' Associations.
  • Determining pricing and developing market positioning maps.
  • Managing and controlling new product launches from all angles (developing and implementing Go-To-Market strategies).
  • Monitoring product performance in the market: sales, product mix, etc., necessary for decision-making. Development of sales pitches and product training/commercial training for internal staff, sales network, and customer network.
  • Creation of documentation and content for catalogs and price lists: technical specifications, value proposition, dimensions, etc.
  • Coordination with other departments for the implementation of promotions, sales forecasting, product obsolescence management, and definition of product-related services (warranties, maintenance).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Formal education equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in similar positions within the HVAC, hot water, and renewable energy sector.
Spanish language as C1 level is mandatory. Intermediate level of English required (minimum B2 level). The Vasco language is a plus.
