QUALITY ASSURANCE SENIOR MANAGER - ELECTRONICS, SYSTEMS & CONNECTIVITY

In your role as Quality Assurance Senior Manager of Electronics, Systems & Connectivity, reporting to the Head of Quality, you are responsible to guarantee the expected Quality level of Systems of Products, Systems and Connectivity Accessories, Connected Services and Electronics (hardware and software) both internally and externally designed and manufactured. You ensure that final customer and market expectations are fulfilled. You collect and analyze markets claims, addressing the relevant corrective action, as well as continuous improvement activities.
 
The key feature of this role is to:

  • Drive the risk based thinking approach among relevant functions.
  • Support in designing organizational processes to guarantee an effective interaction with all the Business Units, Quality Assurance, Market Services. 
  • Address process and product improvement actions.

  • Quality Approval: risk management rules setting and execution
  • Field data analysis: overall quality KPI
  • Claim Management: customer satisfaction
  • Root Cause Analysis: continuous improvement

 

STANDARD OF PERFORMANCE
Ensure that the Electronics, Systems and Connectivity teams act focusing on Quality over all product lifecycle, being aligned with others Platforms teams delivering the expected Quality level.

 

New Products Development

  • Cooperate with technical teams, Quality Assurance and relevant parts of the organization in:
    • Carry out product development procedures, taking care that relevant interfaces are defined and clarified.
    • Carry out procedure of technical changes, evaluating related «impact of change».
  • Carry out quality risk management process to anticipate quality issues, supporting proactively the definition of requirements collection and review, defining Test Plans and Quality Control Plans, promoting the use of quality tools as Statistical Process Control, FMEAs, PPAP.
  • Support and improve reliability tests execution process.
  • Plan, execute and follow-up on field testing activities.
  • Manage the Quality Release process.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Leaders to ensure ramp-up planning and successful launch.
  • Train After Sales Service with live training session and training manual editing in agreement with the stakeholders
  • Take care that past lessons learned are evaluated and addressed during NPI projects
  • Take care of product deviations requests evaluation

 

Product Quality and Customer Satisfaction

  • Manage the market claims for both Quality and Compliance issues.
  • Drive activities with internal and external partners to ensure support to fast resolution of Product Claims on Running Production
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to catch trends, escalate upcoming problems, highlight improvement areas.
  • Timely address Quality related issues to fix them, ensure Customer Satisfaction as well as Continuous Improvement.
  • Properly communicate status of contingency plans to the relevant functions
  • Provide regular Quality reporting and communication according to the Group guidelines

 

Knowledge Management

  • Ensure accessibility of documentation to the stakeholders
  • Promote knowledge management by the creation of protocols and test procedures both for Hardware and Software in collaboration with relevant functions.
  • Explore best practices in similar fields and application like: building automation, automotive, control networks in data centers

 

As our ideal candidate you hold a master degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science with relevant experiences in Quality in electronics household appliance or automotive industry quality functions with recognized leadership. You have excellent English and Italian communication skills both verbal and written. Your analytical and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, aptitude to work in multicultural team, problem solving & flexibility and proficiency in MS office tools (Excel) complete your profile.

 

Your knowledge is considered as a plus about:

  • Technological process like assembly, electronics manufacturing,
  • Validation processes of hardware, software and network application
  • Thermo-Electric-hydronic Systems design principle
  • Most common network protocols
  • Different aspect of Power electronics, digital electronics, cloud systems and application
  • Six sigma methodologies.

 

The role requires travelling across Europe and Asia for plant activities, supplier and field visits.
