CONTROLLER INDIA PLANT

Reports To: Control Asia Operations

Location: Hyderabad

Position Overview

The role is responsible for leading and supporting controlling activities for the Indian manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reliable budgeting and forecasting. It provides key analytical insights for strategic and operational decisions, while overseeing product costing, stock and investment control, monthly performance analysis and audit support.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the Plant budget, forecast and outlooks
• Perform month-end closing and variance analysis (Purchase Price Variances, Labour price and efficiency variances, Indirect costs, Technical modifications)
• Ensure product cost control, raw material stock control and provision analysis
• Ensure goods-in-transit control and investments control together with payback analysis
• Prepare expense reports, analyses and reviews
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Prepare WCM Cost Deployment documentation
• Support the Plant Manager and Industrial BU Controller in decision-making processes: make or buy, cost alternatives analysis, etc.
• Ensure correct application of procedures and compliance with deadlines
• Support R&D and Supply Chain controlling activities

Qualifications & Skills

• • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Management Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, possibly within multinational industrial companies
  • Knowledge of SAP R3 (CO and MM modules) is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent organization, analytical and planning skills
  • Proactivity, flexibility, strong communication and problem-solving attitude, and teamwork abilities
  • English is a must while other languages will be a plus
