In your role as Leader Product Management Electronics (for Control, Energy and Electrical Systems), reporting to our Solution Center New Energy System Senior Manager, you will be responsible for product management activities and to lead a small local team of energy and electrical engineers in product management and lab test of control products.

Leading a small local team, you are passionate about coaching, developing, attracting and inspiring the local team to ensure effective leadership, collaboration and balance in achieving KPIs. You set high standards for teamwork, collaboration and execution through determination, spirit of initiative and open mind.

YOUR MAIN TASKS 

• Definition, specification and implementation of control functions and hardware for the safe and effective operation of heating systems (heat pump, solar, gas, oil, and hybrid systems) 
• Cooperation, communication and coordination with international suppliers and development departments
• Evaluation of customer and system requirements
• Integration of connectivity and cloud-based data structure
• Approval tests and functional tests of prototypes (e.g. on a demo case or in the lab)
• Support lab and field tests in control and electrical engineering areas
• Creation of competitor analyzes, requirement specifications, component specifications, parts lists and technical documentations
• Support quality assurance
• Responsible for electronic components over the entire product life cycle

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 

• Studies in the field of electrical and control engineering or similar qualifications 
• A solid experience of 10+ years in development and/or product management of electronic devices, preferably in the field of building energy systems
• Hands-on team leadership experience is beneficial 
• Knowledge of/experience in the field of control, heating systems, energy management, building automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), bus communications protocols, electronics, PCB, hardware design, lab tests, product management, renewable, and HVAC
• Passion for details with a development-oriented and hands-on mindset 
• Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office and SAP
• Excellent German and English communication skills, Italian is a plus
• Thorough, analytical and systematic way of working 
• Technical communication skills, flexibility, commitment and the ability to work in a team
• Availability to travel is a basic requirement.
