THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that drive sales and brand visibility at the point of sale.
The Trade Marketing Intern will work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager and other team members to support various initiatives, analyze data, and contribute to the overall success of our trade marketing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Trade Marketing Programs: Assist in the planning, development, and execution of trade marketing programs, including promotions, displays, and events.
- Point-of-Sale Materials: Assist in the creation and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials, ensuring they are aligned with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.
- Budget Management: Assist in tracking and managing trade marketing budgets, ensuring expenses are within approved limits.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on trade marketing program performance, including key metrics and insights.
- Market Visits: Conduct market visits to observe retail environments, gather competitive intelligence, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the trade marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing documents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize program effectiveness.
- Project Management: Support the Trade Marketing Manager in managing trade marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
QUALIFICATION
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in trade marketing and the consumer goods industry.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
