HEAT PUMP WATER HEATING SPECIALIST (ENGINEERING LAB)

Ariston Group, to grow the capabilities of our R&D Department, is searching for a Heat Pump Water Heating Specialist to support the launch and ongoing research and development activities of our HPWH line.
The Heat Pump Water Heating Specialist reports to the Engineering Laboratory Manager and will be part of the team that works on product testing, validation, and certification for both new products and development. In addition, this person will support the after sales service support and field quality activities.
He/she will be responsible for the following activities:
• Heat pump fault analysis.
• Check the compliance of the products with the US Standards.
• Execute the functional tests in accordance with the internal group procedures.
• Analyse and elaborate experimental data for graphs and test reports.
• Collaborate with the Product Platform as part of the development team.
• Technical committee attendance for US regulations.
• Accepts other responsibilities as requested by the Engineering Laboratory Manager.
The ideal candidate has a background in the Mechanical or Electronic Engineering field working in a R&D or Laboratory environment with the following processes and/or technical expertise:
• A Mechanical or Electronic Engineering degree with one or two years of experience in R&D or laboratory in automotive or white goods sector, preferably in HVAC sector or heat pump goods business.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or techinical certification with previous experience of at least five years in R&D or laboratory in automotive or white goods sector, preferably in HVAC sector or heat pump goods business.
• Good aptitude to experiment, ability in using measurement and test tools, knowledge of MS Office tools are basic requirements.
• Availability to travel in the US and to Mexico is a must.
• Knowledge of Matlab, Labview and other parametric simulation tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, goal orientation, teamwork and cooperation with other functions, problem solving and accountability complete the profile.
