MATERIAL LOGISTICS PLANNING INTERN

In your role of Materials Logistics Planning in phase, with the support and supervision of the Plant Logistics Manager, you will learn and execute the respect of supplier orders and deliveries necessary for the planned production.
Your main activities will include:
• Interface with the Purchasing Office;
• Support in monitoring the logistics flow between suppliers and production ensuring just-in-time transport;
• Support in improving logistics conditions towards suppliers through the formulation of Logistics Agreements and Standard Packaging Sheets;
• Coordination of inventory activities and with the warehouse and the Quality department, for the alignment of stocks and the year-end inventory;
• Active participation in continuous improvement projects in the logistics field, Internal Logistics efficiency projects and related projects for the improvement of logistics flows.
• Support in coordinating the plant materials planning team
As our ideal candidate, you have a degree in Management Engineering or Economics and a brilliant academic career. The profile is completed by analytical and planning skills, the ability to manage time and consistently respect deadlines, problem solving and flexibility. Knowledge of the English language and a good command of the main MSOffice tools are essential requirements. Knowledge of SAP R3 and SQL basics is an advantage.
