MATERIAL PLANNING INTERN

The trainee will provide support in the planning and management of the material flows necessary for the production of products, ensuring the availability of raw materials, components and semi-finished products at the right time and in the required quantity.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicitation to suppliers regarding delivery times and production requirements.
  • Stock control: monitors the level of inventory and manages the flows of materials in and out, ensuring that stock levels are optimal to avoid stock breakages or excess stock.
  • Demand analysis: Support the analysis of sales forecasts and production plans to determine the quantity and type of materials needed.
  • Recording of the unloading from stock of finished products and their waste.
  • Troubleshooting support: manages any issues that may arise in the supply chain, such as delivery delays, material shortages or quality problems.

Your Profile:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering/Economics
  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management: stock sizing, reordering levels, lead time, etc.
  • Analysis and planning skills
  • Ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines
  • Problem solving and flexibility
  • Fluency in english
  • Proficiency in the main MSOffice tools
