PRODUCT MANAGEMENT - HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT & DEMAND RESPONSE

In the Product Management role for Home Energy Management (HEM) and Demand Response (DR), you are responsible for defining, coordinating, and continuously advancing HEM and DR solutions across the Ariston Group. The position requires a technical background and ensures close alignment between business objectives and technical execution, acting as a key interface between product strategy and engineering teams to deliver scalable, market relevant energy solutions. This role reports to the Group Product Management HEM & DR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse consumer trends, market dynamics and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and contribute to the definition of the strategic product roadmap. Act as the reference point for monitoring HEM and DR competitors, translating market insights into new product and project specifications.
- Translate market and business needs into clear and actionable technical and functional requirements, serving as the primary reference for R&D, Connectivity and Electronics teams.
- Own the definition, tracking and coordination of project requirements, activities and milestones, proactively identifying technical risks, dependencies and critical issues, and proposing mitigation actions.
- Drive projects focused on the introduction of new product features, defining functional and system requirements for Home Energy Management and Demand Response services, with a focus on technical feasibility, scalability and time to market.
- Coordinate teamwork by acting as an interface between business, product R&D, electronics, connectivity teams and external partners, ensuring architectural consistency and effective end to end execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in Product Management or Project management, preferably within Home Energy Management, connected products, energy systems or similar domains.
- Solid technical understanding of Home Energy Management systems is considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with interoperability protocols, data flows and connected ecosystems is an advantage.
- Ability to work at the intersection of business and engineering, translating product needs into clear functional and system level requirements.
- Experience operating in cross functional and technically complex environments.
- Structured, analytical and results oriented mindset, with strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non technical audiences.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English and Italian (mandatory), German is a plus.
- Availability to travel.
