ICT MANUFACTURING ANALYST

As ICT Manufacturing Analyst, you will contribute to the Digital Factory program by supporting the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MOM). The role is a hands-on specialist position, focused on solution execution and technical support, operating under the governance of the ICT Project Manager without direct project management accountability. You will support the digitalization of shopfloor processes, ensuring the effective integration between MES, ERP, and production systems, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, key users, and external vendors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to MES/MOM solution configuration and deployment
  • Support testing, validation, and issue resolution
  • Provide hands-on support during roll-out and hypercare phases
  • Support MES projects under ICT Project Manager guidance
  • Assist in preparing functional documentation and tracking issues
  • Support integration between shopfloor systems, MES and ERP
  • Collaborate with Key Users and Process Owners
  • Support application maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with external vendors on technical activities

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other degrees related to Manufacturing/Supply Chain
  • 2–5 years of experience in MES/MOM or manufacturing IT environments
  • Initial experience with Digital Factory or Industry 4.0 initiatives
  • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of MES platforms (e.g. Plex, Apriso)
  • Work effectively within cross-functional teams (ICT, Operations, Engineering)
  • Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills in international environments
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA contexts
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across the national territory

The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role, applying objective and gender-neutral criteria. As a reference, for this position we offer a salary starting from €36,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role. This position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
