People Leadership: Digital Specialists within assigned Chapter

The Front End Sub‑Chapter Lead mentors developers, supports project teams with deep technical expertise, ensures engineering standards are applied consistently, and serves as the first escalation point for back‑end and integration‑related technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Act as the primary technical reference for the sub‑chapter domain.
  • Guide developers through architectural decisions, code quality improvements, and advanced technical issues.
  • Ensure consistent application of engineering standards and best practices within the sub‑chapter.
  • Identify & allocate resources with the appropriate competencies for Digital Product development in alignment with capacity planning request provided by the Tech Product Owners.
  • Contribute & Support the Chapter Lead in identifying competency gaps and design long‑term capability development plans within the sub‑chapter.
  • Maintain up to date technological platforms in cooperation with ICT Infrastructures and Services to enhance security, improve performance, access to new features and improve integrability and scalability.
     

Product & Solution Delivery

  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable digital solutions within the sub-chapter’s scope.
  • Ensure consistency with engineering standards, methodologies, and design systems.
     

People & Capability Development

  • Mentor and develop chapter members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify skill gaps and propose targeted training, workshops, or learning paths.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members in the domain.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical upskilling. 
     

Operational Excellence

  • Work closely with Product Teams to support delivery, ensuring that technical decisions align with chapter direction.
  • Serve as escalation point for solving domain-specific technical issues encountered by project teams.
  • Partner with Technical Product Teams and ICT extended teams (e.g. Architecture, Security) to ensure cohesive solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of tools, frameworks, coding guidelines, and development workflows within the sub‑chapter.
  • Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions, or technical communities of practice.
     

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar related fields.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in IT roles, managing complex projects in multinational context.
  • At least 3 years of hands on experience in the development and implementation of digital solutions using HTML5, CSS, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Strong expertise in front end technologies and frameworks, such as React, Angular, Bootstrap, and jQuery, with a solid understanding of modern UI architectures and design systems.
  • Solid knowledge of front end stacks and best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), particularly Sites and Assets, and familiarity with AEM Cloud architecture and technologies is considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Apache Jackrabbit Oak, and integration patterns, including Web Services (SOA).
  • Good understanding of JSON, XML and XSL for data transformation and content handling. Good understanding of Enterprise applications & processes.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with IT projects & enhancements. Good knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English

As a reference, for such position we offer a salary ranging between 52.000 € and 77.000 €. You will also be part of the Ariston Group short-term incentive program. This position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
