GROUP QUALITY CONTROL WATER HEATING PLANTS

The Quality Control Manager is part of the Group Quality Team and will oversee and ensure the consistent quality of water heating products manufactured across multiple production plants.

This role requires deep knowledge of the water heating industry, its materials, production technologies, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with global quality and safety regulations.

A significant portion of the role—especially in the first 12–18 months—requires intensive travel to manufacturing sites in Egypt and India to establish, stabilize, and audit quality processes in these 2 brand new production plants.

This position is highly hands‑on and involves extensive time on the shop floor, collaborating closely with local quality teams to enforce best practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product excellence.

The QC manager in the assigned plant will report dotted line to this position.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Quality Control activities across multiple water heating production plants which are in a footprint phase
  • Participate to the definition of QCP and guarantee that the deployment is done in the plant
  • Define any control plan/actions especially when the day of the launch is close
  • Develop, implement, and monitor QC procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols specific to water heating products.
  • Manage non‑conformities, root cause analysis, and supplier quality issues and supervise product audits, process inspections, and end‑of‑line testing.
  • Analyze quality KPIs and develop action plans to reduce defects, scrap, and field complaints.
  • Train local plant teams on quality standards, inspection methods, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in within the water heating industry as Quality Control, Industrialization or similar.
  • Solid understanding of water heating product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience managing quality in multi‑plant international environments would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are welcome.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50–60%, particularly to Egypt and India in the first phase
