DIRECTOR OF MARKETING HEATING & WATER HEATING (US & CANADA)

The Director of Marketing is responsible to lead the marketing and business development activities with a strong background to drive brand awareness for our operating brands in the US & Canada: NTI Boilers, HTP, American Standard Water Heaters, and Ariston. This B2B and B2C role works closely with the Marketing team and Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement marketing strategies. They will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies by creating and developing successful product launches through product positioning, pricing, and promotional marketing analysis. This is a hands on position, with a strong need to balance the strategic with the tactical, while collaborating in a matrix organization.
THE ROLE
The following is a brief description of some of the key functions of this position:
- Develop and implement a high-impact marketing plan to increase top-and-bottom line performance of products.
- Develop and analyze product launches for successful product marketing and brand awareness strategies.
- Manage third-party marketing services in an effective manner (creative, PR, etc.).
- With the Pricing team, develop and analyze price comparisons of competitive products.
- Digital marketing and leading the day-to-day management and delivery of digital marketing programs.
- Drive the execution and innovation of marketing launches throughout all phases including development, design, launch, and evaluation.
- Develop and communicate key marketing performance metrics, analysis tools and relevant dashboards.
- Analyze, measure, and execute the ROI on marketing programs to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Improve brand awareness and engage in the end-to-end ownership of positioning in the marketplace (brand identity, content strategy, etc.).
- Proactively build a partnership with the Regional Sales Managers and Manufacturers Reps to deploy effective product campaign successes, in all channels: Contractor, Professional, Builder, Distribution, etc.
- Responsible for developing and adhering to departmental budgets.
- Provide leadership and insights, supporting strategic objectives, and being a hands-on member of the team.
- Align the Marketing Department activities with the company goals and strategic direction, as well with the company’s corporate values.
- Other responsibilities as needed to contribute to success.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
The following is a brief description of the processes in the technical expertise and experience:
- A minimum of seven years of experience in a high impact Marketing leadership position.
- Demonstrated success working in a hands-on, lean environment. (small to midsize company environment)
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships across all levels internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects with minimum supervision.
- A strong background in digital marketing, product management, and communication strategies required.
- Experienced in writing and developing marketing proposals, quotes, and reports using MS Office, which includes Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Experienced in database management, branding management and marketing analytics experience required.
- Experience in Manufacturing Rep environment a huge plus!
- Heating and/or Plumbing or Hydronics experience would be a top candidate!
