R&D ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

Within a team of 60 experienced engineers, we propose an active role in the definition of the future of heat pumps. We are looking for a Senior R&D Electronics Engineer, with the responsibility of requirements definition and solutions selection (components or assy’s) by market scouting and direct contact with external suppliers. Definition and execution of proper qualification plan to release robust products in the market should be your first priority. Project leading attitude with internal resources and/or external suppliers is completing the role.
 
As Senior R&D Electronics Engineer, reporting to the Electrical & Electronic Design Manager, you will be responsible for the following activities:
•    Develop hardware and software specifications of electronic boards to be used into heating heat pumps;
•    Create and release technical documentation for purchased electronic components;
•    Create software testing plan at product level;
•    Software debugging at product level;
•    Contact with suppliers on technical topics;
•    Supervise and collaborate to the construction of prototypes and participates to laboratory activities;
•    Follow certifications of new products (LVD and EMC);
•    Participate in software simulations in Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow;
•    Collaborate with other R&D teams;
•    Work on production sustaining activities.
 
As ideal candidate, you have a degree in Electronic Engineering and a previous experience of 3-5 years, preferably in HVAC/White Goods companies.
Good knowledge of structure of main communication protocols, control box designing and testing capability are essential for the role. 
 
Flexibility, open-mindedness, analytical and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem solving and team working complete the profile. 
English knowledge and availability to travel are basic requirements.
