TREASURY SENIOR SPECIALIST

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Specialist to manage and maintain treasury activities within our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of treasury operations.
The position will play a key role in a transition phase, involving the migration and takeover of activities from an external service provider, ensuring continuity and process optimization.


Our Treasury Specialist will be in charge of 

 Treasury Activities:

  •  Execute and monitor bank payments and treasury transactions as per the deadlines established.
  •  Monitor bank accounts, balances, and transaction activity.
  •  Perform cash-allocation as a daily activity.
  •  Endure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements.
  •  Prepare treasury reports, support month-end closing activities.
  •  Participate in process improvement and treasury system enhancement.

Activity takeover and transition responsibilities:

  •  Take over treasury operations from the transitioning team. 
  •  Review and document existing treasury processes, procedures, and controls.
  •  Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and continuity of treasury activities.
  •  Validate cash management, banking, and payment workflows during the transition period.
  •  Reconcile outstanding treasury items and identify open issues requiring follow-up.
  •  Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  •  Assess current treasury practices and recommend process improvements. 
  •  Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities during the transition phase.
  •  Maintain accurate documentation of responsibilities, schedules, and reporting requirements during the handover phase

Additional responsibilities:

  •  Support treasury projects, bank account management, and system implementation.
  •  Assist with audits and provide treasury-related documentation when required

Our IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations, or corporate finance.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) required.
  • Italian/Spanish/German/French language skills are considered an advantage.
  • String analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and treasury/accounting ERP systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.S
  • Strong documentation and process-mapping abilities.
  • Time management and prioritization.
