TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TRAINING LEADER, UK & IRELAND

The Role
 

The Technical Support and Training Leader will be field based, with the requirement to travel across the UK and Ireland. The central hub for training, is at Ariston UK Ltd Training Center in Birmingham and training will predominantly be from this location. The management of the Training Center premises will be part of the requirement of the role.

The Technical Support and Training Leader will report directly in to the Parts and Service Manager, UK & Ireland within the After Sales function . This position has a number of direct reports who work within Technical and Training and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Ariston Technical Support and Training operates effectively, delivering excellence.
 

Tasks and Responsibilities
 

The Technical Support and Training Leader will be responsible for ensuring that Ariston UK Ltd is up to date with all of the legal, regulatory and Health and Safety regulations ensuring that all working practices and products conform to these requirements in the UK & Ireland. The ability to identify quality, legislation and technical issues and put action plans in place to drive improvements is imperative to the success of the role. The Technical Support and Training Leader will be a technical expert with the full Ariston UK Ltd product portfolio, including new products introductions, ensuring quality control and reporting according to group processes.

The Technical Support and Training Leader will be responsible for creating, designing and delivering technical training to all Ariston UK Ltd stakeholders within the UK and Ireland, this will require working with the Marketing Team to understand product launches, market requirements and demand. To successfully manage and implement the full training function for Ariston UK Ltd, with a view to increase purchasing potential.

The Technical Support and Training Leader will require excellent knowledge of the industry, legislation and product range. The ability to build strong working relationships with the Area Sales Managers and Technical Team to reach expected numbers of training attendees. Working in conjunction with the Product Marketing Senior Specialist, to deliver new product implementation.

 

Skills & Requirements
 

- Extensive experience within the heating and renewable industry

- Experience in designing, demonstrating and delivering Training programmes to internal and external customers

- Live in, or on the outskirts of Birmingham

- Have a full, clean driver’s license
