TECHNICAL SERVICE SPECIALIST - SOUTHERN ENGLAND & IRELAND

The Role
 

The Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for supporting in the management of the Service Partners across South England and Ireland. The Technical Service Specialist will be expected to support the Regional Service Managers in managing compliance, performance and onboarding of Service Partners.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities
 

The successful person will be expected to achieve servicing excellence across the Ariston UK Ltd product range, through in-depth technical knowledge and awareness of all products, partnering with Service Partner Engineers in delivering training and upskilling activities.
The Technical Service Specialist will report directly into the Regional Service Manager for the South, within the After Sales department.
The Technical Service Specialist will be required to deliver onsite training to Service Partners on commissioning, servicing and repairing Ariston UK Ltd products, attending technical escalation visits to resolve any customer complaints.
The Technical Service Specialist will be required to support Regional Service Managers with Service Partner Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
There may also be the requirement to support on complex installation or commissioning activities, ensuring products are installed to Manufacturer’s Instructions, as well as attendance in emergency breakdown jobs where there is no service partner availability.
The Technical Service Specialist will support any technical escalations due to continued product failure or on Group technical request, as well as carrying out onsite safety and compliance audits and technical sales support to Area Sales Managers.
Willingness to travel to Company training center premises to renew and expand product knowledge when required.
The ability to build strong working relationships within the Parts and Service department as well as wider support departments to continually seek development opportunity and share best practice.

 

Skills & Requirements
 

Extensive experience within the heating and renewable industry
Have a full, clean driver’s license
Excel, SAP BI, PowerPoint, Power BI Intermediate level
