ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE & CONTROL MANAGER SPAIN & PORTUGAL

Reporting solid line to Legal Entity's Country Manager and dotted line to Head of Group Accounting & Administration, the resource will lead the Administration, Finance and Controlling management of the Legal Entity.  The role will cover:

 

1. Administration 

  • Accountability of the monthly financial closing and the preparation of the external reporting in its Financial Statement components, both IFRS and Local GAAP.
  • Supervising of any tax related issues, direct, indirect and others, and their compliance.
  • Managing all legal company documents.
  • Supervising and direct anagement of the Customer invoicing and credit control processes.
  • Supervising, supported by a Shared Service Centre of the Vendor administration and related order-invoice process.
  • Managing partnerships and liason with all relevant business partners.
  • Developing and sustain the internal control system.
  • Liason with Internal and External Auditors.
  • Managing all administration day by day.

 

2. Finance

  • Under a system of Group Netting and wth the support of HQs Treasury and Shared Service Centre, managing banks, financial balances and currency
  • Managing cash flow actual and forecast.

 

3. Controlling

  • Under the supervision of Area controlling:
  • Managing forecast and budgeting process
  • Managing commercial controlling Area activities and related Managerial PL
  • Managing monthly Country business review
  • KPIs defintion and analysis
  • In liason with all Corporate Financial functions, deals with financial transactions, policies, and procedures meeting the organization's short and long-term business objectives conducted in accordance with regulations, local and international accounting principles, and standards.
  • Responsible for assisting the MD & Board of Directors in formulating the Company's strategy & supporting tactical initiatives, develop the financial and operational strategy, assuring a sound internal control systems designed to report accurate financial results, preserving Company assets and provide results of metrics tied to the strategy.

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant subject such as Accounting, business or financial management (Chartered Accountant qualification preferred)        
  • At least 5 years work experience in the role. Proven track record within financial management with specific exposure to accounting, credit control, tax and reporting in a multinational context. Previous experience in controlling conidered a plus. years overall working experience (at least 2 years in a Big Four, then experience in a multinational environment)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC, BI, HFM Hyperion)    
  • Languages: Spanish and English level C
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Strong managerial and interpersonal skills, gained in international environments, and ability to effectively communicate at various levels of the organization, liaising with local, regional and HQs management
  • Pro-activity and autonomy 
  • CPA or ACCA preferred
  • Excellent Spreadsheet skills
