Job description

• Lead, evaluate, and develop maintenance staff so that repair and service activities are completed accurately, safely, and on-time.
• Develop and implement repair and maintenance procedures.
• Plan, prioritise, schedule, and manage maintenance activities (for example planned maintenance programmes, shut-downs, or emergency repairs) to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimise business disruptions.
• Produce and be accountable for the yearly maintenance budget.
• Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for repair projects.
• Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external contractors (for example builders, electricians) to minimise costs and ensure the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service.
• Liaise with functional or operational area managers throughout the organization to coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with their operations.
• Job description can be changed to be adaptable with the change of the business & the revised job description will be re-signed as the contract appendix.
• Implement other allowable tasks assigned by line manager.
• Be responsible on the work quality, compliance on the legal regulations and company procedures for the employees.
• Comply with the company's regulations, and regulations on fire prevention, occupational safety and health.

Job requirements

• Have at least 3 years of experience in the same position in manufacturing companies.
• Have good analysis and presentation skills.
• Good at lean manufacturing & kaizen system.
• Fluent English communication.
• Master in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Project and cost management.
• Drawing SW as Autocad/ Cadra/ Solidworks or 2D/3D technical design.
• Basics of World Class Manufacturing (or other continuous improvement approaches).
• Safety and Environment concepts applied to production processes.
• Knowledge on core production processes like metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection, assembly and automation.
