AREA SALES MANAGER

Area Sales Manager is responsible for actively driving and managing the sales process, working in conjunction with the Country Sales Manager as the key Customer’s advisor and product advocate for our company.

His activity will be focused on enlarging Customers’ base and positions Ariston products towards present distributors, installers, designers and other stakeholders.
The Area Sales Manager must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with professional channel.

Responsibilities
- Being responsible for presenting the products to distributors, installers and for visiting trade shows, stores, community organizations, and other venues, to demonstrate products or services, and to answer questions from potential customers.
- Set up and arrange displays and demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers, explaining products, methods, or services
- Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising customer potential in designated regions,
- Learn about competitors' products and consumers' interests and concerns in order to answer questions and provide more complete information.
- Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers;
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs;
- Persuading clients that our products or services best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- Respecting the assigned budget for his area in order to achieve the targets requested by the Company.

Tasks
- Regular visits to clients in accordance with accepted principles of segmentation
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events in the area assigned;
- Understand relation between revenue and profitability
- Making commercial and technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
- Responsibility for the timely payment of customers’ obligations
- Calculating client quotations;
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions;
- Preparing reports for head office;
- Recording and maintaining client contact data;
- Spread any commercial information among target Customers and monitor their activity and engagement.

Qualifications
Ideal Candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales (preferable technical) and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for travel in his area.
- At least 2 years professional experience in sales activities PREFERABLY of heating appliances (wall hung combi boilers, stand boilers) and/or electric appliances (electric water heaters, instantaneous water heaters, air conditioners) through professional distribution channels;
- Expert knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain business issues.
- Proven success selling into complex sales environments with both business and technical buyers.
- Able to create effective presentations in time constrained environment.
- Able to organize and prioritize work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus
- Be able to prioritize and effective time management
- At least intermediate English level
