As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Assurance Director – BU Components, and you will implement Supplier Quality Strategy ensuring the achievement of Quality Targets in compliance with Standards and Guidelines.


You will be in charge of the following responsibilities:


Supplier Qualification

  • Support Supplier Qualification process, by executing a structured Audit process 

New Product(s) Introduction

  • Guarantee that New Product Introduction Quality targets and time to market are met through the application of AQPQ (Advanced Quality Product Planning) phases to Supplier Manufacturing process and the delivery of PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) requirements
  • Support the development of Supplier capability and methodology to proactively define the process controls to be guaranteed on Critical to Quality (Safety/Functional) features

Supplier Monitoring

  • Manage Problem Solving activities with Suppliers’ on Quality Issues by using basic 8D methodology and monitoring its effectiveness.
  • Execute Reporting activities on Quality data to be used for Executive Dashboard and Plants’ Governance routines

Supplier Development

  • Execute targeted Process Audits to ensure the control of improvement actions deployment

 

As ideal candidate, you have a degree in Engineering and a previous experience at least of 2/3 years in similar role in multinational Company.

Entrepreneurship, organizational and planning skills, teamwork aptitude, flexibility and pro-activity will complete the profile. 
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and Statistical Quality Control is a plus.
Proficiency in English is mandatory as well as mobility.
