Are you passionate about quality and building strong supplier partnerships? Join our team as a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our suppliers deliver top-quality components that meet our standards for performance, cost, and reliability.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with R&D and Procurement to select and qualify top-performing suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other standards.
- Lead supplier development projects to improve quality, reduce costs, and support new product launches.
- Manage supplier changes, capacity studies, and engineering updates.
- Drive the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and ensure smooth integration of new components.
- Solve quality issues and lead improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and supplier partners.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certifications Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are highly valued.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or supplier quality roles, preferably in automotive industry.
- Experience conducting supplier audits (process, product, and system audits).
- Proficiency in tools like FMEA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Understanding of metrology, calibration, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skills, Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Strong teamwork, customer focus, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and SAP ERP.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
