SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING

Ariston Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Plastic Injection Molding to drive operational excellence, process optimization, and manufacturing innovation within our Plastic Injection Molding operations. This role is responsible for improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while supporting new product industrialization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the optimization and continuous improvement of plastic injection molding processes to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs including OEE, scrap, cycle time, downtime, and throughput.
• Provide technical expertise in injection molding technologies, tooling, process validation, and troubleshooting.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process, equipment, and quality issues.
• Support new product introductions, process industrialization, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to achieve operational targets.
• Support mold and tooling performance through preventive maintenance and continuous optimization.
• Identify and implement automation and Industry 4.0 opportunities.
• Lead CAPEX and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through implementation.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop engineers, technicians, and production teams.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Molding operations.
• Experience in process optimization, industrialization, and continuous improvement projects. Preferably gained within Home Appliances, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Plastics, or Industrial Manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding process and tooling (such as Hot Runner Systems and Mold Preventive Maintenance) and thermoplastic materials (such as PP, ABS, PS, and PA)
• Experience with scientific molding, process validation, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, and 5S methodologies.
• Familiarity with SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process capability studies.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing performance analytics
• Project management experience related to manufacturing equipment, tooling, or automation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate manufacturing teams.
