SECTION HEAD - MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE

Your Mission: Lead Mechanical maintenance. Cut breakdowns. Maximize production.


What You’ll Do:

  • Drive maintenance strategy to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
  • Solve recurring faults with smart technical fixes.
  • Develop and execute mechanical maintenance plans.
  • Oversee mechanical repairs and emergency interventions.
  • Manage spare parts procurement and supplier coordination.
  • Collaborate across departments and with external technical partners.

 

What You Bring:

  • Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid experience of 7-10 years in industrial maintenance field (particularly in the sheet metal industry).
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Expertise in plant mechanical systems, develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all plant equipment.
  • Ensure timely execution of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
  • Minimize unplanned breakdowns and production interruptions.
  • Breakdown & Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting of mechanical failures across all equipment.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
  • Implement permanent corrective actions to eliminate repeated failures.
  • Mechanical fault diagnosis and knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems and gearbox.
  • Performance Improvement :Improve equipment efficiency and reliability (OEE).
  • Reduce downtime and increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use SAP/CMMS.
  • Familiarity with TPM and Lean Maintenance is a plus.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance:ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and standards.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:coordinate with Production to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption. Support Quality team in resolving product-related mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall plant performance.

 

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

  • Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, mechanical presses (100–350 tons),welding machines (MIG / CO2 / Spot Welding),Plastic injection machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic drawings.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Decision making under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
