Are you an analytical planner who enjoys keeping production running smoothly?

We are looking for a Material Planning Supervisor to join our Planning team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will make sure the right materials and components are available at the right time to support production. You will translate production plans into material requirements, anticipate shortages and supply risks, and help maintain the right balance between material availability and inventory levels. You will work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering and R&D to keep materials and production plans aligned.

Your challenge

Production depends on having the right materials available when they are needed. Your challenge is to look ahead, identify potential risks and take action before they impact production. Using MRP data, Bills of Materials, inventory levels, lead times and purchasing information, you will help ensure reliable material availability while avoiding unnecessary or excess inventory.

What you will do

  • Plan material requirements based on production schedules, demand, BOMs, inventory levels and lead times.
  • Run and monitor MRP through the company’s ERP/MRP system.
  • Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, components and other production materials.
  • Follow up on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery dates and outstanding materials.
  • Anticipate shortages, long-lead-time items and excess inventory, and coordinate the right actions.
  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering and R&D to respond to changing production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory against safety-stock levels and inventory targets.
  • Keep MRP planning parameters accurate, including lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks and reorder points.
  • Assess the material impact of production-plan changes and BOM revisions.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on material availability, shortages, inventory and MRP performance.
  • Use planning and inventory data to identify opportunities to improve material availability and reduce excess stock.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in material planning, inventory accuracy and production continuity.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in MRP or material planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally in home appliances, metalworking or assembly operations.
  • Good understanding of MRP, Bills of Materials, inventory management, lead times, safety stock and material planning principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with planning and inventory data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.

What will make you successful
You enjoy combining data, planning and manufacturing operations. You think ahead, spot potential material issues before they become production problems and take ownership of finding practical solutions.

You are comfortable working across different teams and know that successful material planning requires more than accurate numbers. It also takes clear communication, strong follow-up and a good understanding of what is happening on the production floor.
