FUNDED PROJECTS MANAGER

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Funded Projects Manager to lead the full lifecycle of national and European funded projects—from proposal development and submission to implementation, monitoring, and final reporting. In this role, you will head our Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, KPIs, and funding requirements. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Finance and Administration teams, external partners and funding authorities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Project Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate proposal submissions: call analysis, proposal writing, budgeting, documentation, and partner coordination.
  • Supervise project implementation to ensure objectives, deliverables, and funding rules are met.
  • Oversee technical and financial reporting in collaboration with Finance and Administration.
  • Use automation and digital tools to streamline tasks and improve data accuracy.

 

2. Governance & PMO Leadership

  • Define methodologies, templates, and internal governance standards for the PMO.
  • Monitor KPIs, milestones, and risks using advanced dashboards (Power BI or similar).
  • Leverage GenAI tools for analysis, proposal drafting, and reporting.
  • Implement digital workflow systems for compliance and process tracking.
  • Promote a digital-first mindset and adoption of innovative tools.

 

3. Internal & External Coordination

  • Align activities, timelines, and budgets with Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Administration on audits and cash flow management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, consultants, auditors, and funding bodies.

 

4. Reporting & Compliance

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI or equivalent.
  • Use GenAI for reports, technical notes, and documentation.
  • nsure compliance with national and EU funding rules and support audits.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

  • Degree in Economics, Management, Political Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree or training in project management or EU funding is a plus.

 

Experience

  • 3–5+ years experience in managing funded projects (EU, national, regional).
  • Proven experience with financial and technical reporting, complex calls, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
  • PMO or project governance experience is an advantage.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of major funding programs (Horizon, LIFE, PNRR, etc.).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project or similar).
  • Advanced Power BI skills (queries, dashboards, basic data modeling).
  • Ability to leverage GenAI tools for analysis and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and digital reporting platforms.
  • Solid budgeting and financial planning capability.
