We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Mechanical Engineer to join our Heating Heat Pump R&D Platform. In this role, you will drive the development and design of mechanical parts and assemblies for innovative heat pump units. You will own the mechanical Bill of Materials (BOM), lead the creation of technical documentation, and contribute directly to the development of next‑generation heating solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks in a PLM environment.
Design mechanical components considering manufacturing constraints (cut & bending, die, molding, piping).
BOM & Documentation
- Manage and develop product BOMs using SAP and PLM systems.
- Create and release detailed technical documentation, including component specifications.
Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage technical aspects with suppliers in partnership with Procurement.
- Collaborate closely with other R&D teams, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) in component qualification activities.
Process & Compliance
- Apply PPAP methodologies and tolerance analysis during development.
- Ensure adherence to product development and industrialization processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 4–5 years of experience, ideally in HVAC or White Goods industries.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and PLM systems (3DExperience preferred).
- Experience with manufacturing technologies: Cut & bending, die, mold processes, and piping.
- Strong knowledge of PPAP, tolerance analysis, and industrial development processes.
- Experience in technical supplier management.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to travel.
